I had a terrifying encounter with the owner of this restaurant and one of her managers a few weeks ago. I had tried to explain to the manager that my family had come in from out of town especially to have the Music Trio, which Jalisco's promised would be there, sing a song for a special dinner guest of ours... I had even called twice to confirm that the Trio would be there that night and two different Jalisco's staff members confirmed that they would be. When we arrived to our reservation, Jalisco's staff said that the Trio only came to the restaurant once in a while and would not be there that night. I was frustrated and asked to speak to the owner of the company and said that I wanted her to comp our meal. When she arrived, she came to our table in an upset fashion. I asked if we could speak away from my dinner guests and before we reached the next room she began pointing her finger in my face and told me that I had better never be rude to her manager again and that if I didn't pay for dinner she would call the police and have me arrested. I asked her if she wanted to know why I was frustrated and she said she didn't care and that the Trio was not her responsibility. She was yelling at me to the point where my dinner guests said they could hear her. I told her that my guests and I would not come back to Jalisco's and she told me to look around and that she did not need me or my family to come back to her restaurant because she had plenty of patrons. I had to go back to my table and try to ignore what had happend so that I could give the gifts which I had brought for my guests to them, while the owner and her staff kept watching our table. A few days later I had to explain to our guest of honor, which was my mother, what had happend and why she did not get to hear the song I had chosen for her to thank her for her hard work on a venture that we are in together and why I could only read the note to her that night which I had planned to give to the Music Trio to read to her before the song. I hope this never happends to anyone else, it was an absolutely horrifying experience.
